Hombre bajo la lluvia, 2011
Hace algunos días, me encontré por casa unas pequeñas cartulinas de doble cara: una de las caras era blanca y satinada y la otra, de cartón marrón reciclado. Éstas son las que se utilizan en las tiendas para plegar las camisas. Pensé que podrían tener muchas posibilidades y que podría hacer un dibujo interesante en ambas.
De momento, solo he dibujado en una de ellas y éste es el resultado:
Para hacer este dibujo tomé como inspiración un caballero medieval con capucha. Lo dibujé de perfil, con un fondo lluvioso, intentando darle un aura de misterio y melancolía.
El material empleado para dibujar el caballero ha sido un simple bolígrafo negro y el efecto de lluvia con una barrita de pastel blanca.
El tamaño de la cartulina es de 285x185mm y el gramaje calculo que ha de ser de más de 300g/ m².

Man underneath the rain, 2011
Some days ago, I bumped into two-sided little cards at home: one of them was white and satin-finished and the other one was made of brown recycled cardboard. They were the ones used in shops in order to fold the shirts up. I thought that I could take profit from them as I could draw an interesting painting.
At the moment, I have just drawn in one of them and this is the result:
In order to draw this painting, I took the inspiration from a knight errant with a very special hood. It is a profile portrait and it has a raining sky, as I wanted to give it a mystery and melancholy halo.
I used a simple black pen so as to draw the knight errant and a white pastel stick to make the raining effect.
The card dimensions are 285x185mm and I supposed the grammage to be more or less of 300g/ m².
